Why was the Albanian flag torn yesterday in Kosovo?

What was expected happened.
Yesterday, the Albanian national flag was trampled and run over by a car by some young people, accompanied by anti-Albanian insults.

It didn't happen in Serbia.
It didn't happen in North Macedonia.
It didn't happen in Greece.

Yesterday, the red and black flag was desecrated precisely where, in recent years, hatred towards Albania has been cultivated and sponsored the most: in Kosovo.

It happened where separation from the Albanian nation is being attempted and the ideas of a “Kosovar nation” are being promoted.
It happened where, for six months, the country has been without a government and without an Assembly.
It happened where the doors to the Government of Albania have been closed.
It happened where ingratitude has trampled the bread of the allies who helped create the state of Kosovo.
It happened where they killed and spied on each other, and where the liberators were sent to prison.
It happened where war has been declared against all Albanian parties – in Albania, Macedonia, Preševo and Montenegro.
It happened where the Kosovo government sees the Albanian opposition as more of an enemy than Belgrade.
It happened where the honor that America and Europe did them has been forgotten.
It happened where Albania’s hospitality was forgotten at the time when Serbia expelled and raped thousands of Kosovo Albanians.

Today, Kosovo Police released the perpetrators of this shameful act.

They forgot thousands of years of fighting for the red and black flag – the fight of their parents and grandparents.
They forgot the blood that was shed for the flag and for Albania.

They are not minor children, but a spoiled youth, poisoned by those who have distorted the love for our homeland and national symbols.
They forgot mother Albania.

I have long been waiting for the humiliation of the red and black flag to happen, because Kosovo is in the hands of heartless politicians.
The tearing down of the flag was only a matter of time, by those who have separated Kosovo from Albania more than ever in the history of our nation.
