From 20 to 1200 euros a day/ Sunbeds cost as much as a rented apartment, which are the most expensive beaches this summer

If you're planning a summer vacation to Europe's most beautiful beaches, prepare for sky-high prices and reservations weeks in advance.
The Mediterranean's most popular beaches, from Italy's glittering Amalfi Coast to the hot bays of Ibiza, are increasingly under private management, and just a simple spot on the seafront can cost as much as a night in a luxury hotel.
At the peak of the summer season, 2 sun loungers with an umbrella can cost from 20 to 50 pounds per day, while in luxury resorts, prices reach hundreds of euros.
The record is held by Club La Cabane on the Costa del Sol, where a beach bed for three people costs up to 1,200 euros and includes only a 200 euro voucher for champagne.
On the famous Positano coast, at Arienzo Beach Club, a “Perfect Beach Day” package costs 600 euros for two people, including lunch, champagne and beach towels. At La Scogliera, the price goes up to 848 euros for two sun loungers, not including food.
In Italy, rising prices have caused anger among residents, with prices having risen by 17% in the last four years. In some resorts like Alassio, sun loungers cost up to 340 euros a day.
Even on the Spanish islands of Mallorca and Ibiza, prices are steep. At UM Beach House in Mallorca, a bed costs 700 euros, while at Atzaro Beach in Ibiza, the price is 350 euros.
In Monaco, a sunbed at the Monte-Carlo Beach Club costs 350 euros, while in the south of France, at La Réserve à la Plage, the price is 250 euros for two sunbeds.
However, lesser-known beaches offer more affordable alternatives; for example, at Playa Esmeralda on Sardinia's Costa Smeralda, a pair of sun loungers costs just 15 euros per day.
