Albania is a country with great polarization
. Today, political polarization even surpasses the Communist period!
During the Regime, there were "Sons of the Party", "Sons of Albania" and "Enemies of the Party and Albania".
The former were the people in power, the latter, although they did not have power, had no obstacles to education, employment and could provide for that time, an acceptable life. While the latter were as if they did not exist, they did not enjoy any rights!
So, the Regime also needed the masses, both for labor and as potential soldiers in a war or hot conflict!
Today, political polarization has led to only two categories, the "Sons of the Party" who have everything and the "Enemies of the Party" who have often chosen in these 35 years of transition, departure and emigration as the only hope to live in acceptable conditions!
I use the term "Party" as a symbol of the political force that has had power in the past or that has it today!
Unfortunately, the career and the opportunity to live well, even by abusing and having privileges in these 35 years of transition is closely linked to politics and political power!
Almost none of those who have stayed or remained outside the sphere of politics have made a career and have not created wealth.
To understand the "new subjects", I have always been of the idea and I remain of the opinion that we should refer to the "Red and Black Alliance", because it was the genesis of the possibilities of anti-system subjects!
This started with much euphoria and support, but it received the main blow of abandonment when its followers did the calculations and were convinced that the force they followed was not part of the great power elite.
The clear signal was when AK refused a coalition with the Socialist Party. At that moment, its followers, beyond patriotism, began to become pragmatists, making personal calculations for power, career or privileges. Of course, after the decision that AK would not be in coalition with PS, blackmail, enticements and pressures would be simpler and would be accompanied by massive departures.
The new parties in 2025, essentially copies or deformed imitations of AK, had some advantages and this made them a little more successful, but in essence they also resulted in losing to the system.
The important advantage for them was the new Justice and the protagonism of Spak, which curbed the phenomena that had previously occurred.
The law and the implementation of decriminalization in recent years have had their effects.
A DP tired of leadership and defeated was in favor of the new subjects.
Therefore, the result they obtained in 2025 was much better than AK's in 2013, but in the end it was also a loser to the system,because they neither shook him nor knocked him down.
On the contrary, they have entered a new and final phase, perhaps to finally defeat themselves until complete political elimination.
Why does this happen? People follow a subject in the hope of taking power and being powerful. If a subject has received, even 60 thousand votes, but has produced only one mandate, the latter does not come into work in its mission neither for the leader nor for the followers!
The followers turn from a crowd with emotions, into pragmatists making individual calculations. The loss is the reason for this transformation and as a result of the blow of destruction or physical elimination of an anti-system subject that loses in political life with the latter! Little power, means a poor and small table and as a result not everyone is fed and there is no room for everyone! Those who are pragmatists immediately start looking for a place to find a bigger table with plenty of food!
