Pyrrhus, you may love Greece, but we owe you nothing!

Pyrrhus, you may love Greece, but we owe you nothing!

Pirro, you love Greece, but we owe you nothing, on the contrary. In Albania you cried and laughed for the first time, you grew up and became famous. Don't deprive yourself of the most beautiful part of your childhood and youth. Don't forget! Albania bathed you in gold, there were no fewer than 15 gold medals as a weightlifter, it made you a European Master.
I feel obliged to respond to Pirro Dhima, perhaps for a simple reason of acquaintance, as a sports doctor, where he
passed several times to be visited and analyzed as an athlete. Pirro keeps good memories of you. You were a great weightlifter of Albania. When times changed and you tried for a better life, you transformed like that plant that is transported in a cube. So you were formed here, in your homeland. Don't forget that you received 15 gold medals for Albania, some of which were in Greece. You took fourth place in Europe for growing up and became the Master of Europe, for Albanian weightlifting.
In Litohoro (Piereias) 25 km. from Katerini, at the foot of Mount Olympus, you also met your life partner, Anastasia. You gave birth to 4 children, a daughter now 17 years old, a son 14, a daughter 12 and a little one of old age 3 years old. In this regard, you have shown yourself to be a true Albanian.
Pirro, no one here confuses you with a minority, because you are a Himarite born in Tirana and if you dig into history, you will find in Himara the names of northern Albania, the same customs, songs and dances. The Himarites knew Latin and Italian very well before they learned Greek, at least that's what history says.

In a "Lykeio" school in Litohoro, probably from 1997, when you had returned as a famous weightlifter from Greece, "as if from a woman's village" you tried to stir up every reality of yours.
- "Pirro Dimas had nothing to eat in Albania because I was Greek". That's what you said in that school, your words infuriated not only the Albanians, the Arvanites but also the Greeks themselves. I, who know the "KS 17 November" canteen well, know how well they have kept you supplied with food, although the country was in crisis. Because the Pirro countries are going through a crisis just as Greece is going through now. You did not forget Ganimeti, the kind-hearted "Mama the cook", you brought her a small "gift", which she showed with tears in her eyes, remembering with great longing her Pirro, the chamarok.

– I, Pirro Dimas, was not given a school because I was Greek.
No, Pirro, at the time I finished the “Faculty of Medicine” there were some wonderful boys from the minority who became competent doctors. You personally did not stand out in your studies, although I say it as I have said everywhere, that they made a mistake with you, by not accepting you into the ILKF “Vojo Kushi”. You can be angry with some Albanians, but that does not allow you to be angry with all of Albania.

Do you think you have to do such politics to be a good MP for Greece? But you have never been a politician and you should understand the proposal for MP well. In these moments of crisis, Greek politicians are almost hated by their people. The electorate says better Pyrrhus, who although he does not know politics, will be fair and good to us, Pyrrhus the weightlifter of the century, Pyrrhus who London remembers with a metro station, from where the weightlifting hall will be entered, in the Olympics, London 2012. Greece should also make a monument to you and it deserves it, because after all, it itself has become one of the glorious monuments. Wait Pyrrhus, wait calmly and do not "wave your weapons" at us. Don't you understand that the time has come for the worst dilemma of your life? The "worst" part of Greece, they don't want you to lift weights because they know you can't right now, but they want you to believe in the Northern Epirian melody because there are many Greeks who no longer believe this out-of-print propaganda.

Therefore, when you want to speak, turning to us, it is better to address them. We know what Northern Epirus is. This cracked drum, repaired many times, continues to beat, tiring the drummers in vain.
Pirro, I wanted to remind you that even in those times when we had no state and Greece could easily usurp us, we Albanians had a rifle at home. When necessary, an Albanian does not shame himself for bravery.
So the few Greeks love you to shame you. There is no other explanation, you have to return with shame what you have earned with sweat.

Now that you have been away from Albania for some time, I am writing you a poem by Petro Nini Luarasi, to refresh yourself a little, to make better policies and with the minority, to better understand who we Albanians are, we have been and will remain.
They say that Christ is not Albanian
, and Albanian - he does not expect a word from us,
Only in the Greek language
He listens to you and listens to you.
And if Christ told us
that - "I am Greek, follow me",
we would say: - Without thinking,
because the Albanian does not follow you!
We have our own language,
old and valuable,
It was said by God
that we should keep it excellent.
The irony of Petro Nini Luarasi
in the poem "Against the Curse
of the Albanian Language"

Happening now...
