Vlora does not need war, but love and cooperation between the left and the right!

Vlora is a city with a great history and a deep soul. Therefore, it is painful to see that its natural beauty, cultural wealth and extraordinary potential are often diminished by everyday problems: lack of cleanliness, occupation of public spaces, disregard for the community.
This is not the Vlora we want. This is not the Vlora we deserve.
Precisely for this reason, as an opposition municipal councilor, I cannot remain indifferent. Because we as the opposition and I as the leader of the opposition group are not here to fight blindly, but to contribute.
We are not enemies of the ruling party, but political opponents who strongly believe in an active and useful role in serving the city.
We are not “against out of spite”, but we are “confronted with reasoning and argumentation”.
The fact that we are in the opposition does not make us enemies of the city, its institutions and their leaders.
We are political opponents, but an inseparable part of civic representation. A critical and proposing stance towards the majority is not a betrayal of the city, but a healthy form of democracy that aims to increase transparency, efficiency and real representation of the public interest.
This is an act of love for Vlora.
Because the opposition is not an obstacle, but should be seen as an opportunity!
In function of this stance, I call for institutional cooperation in every case when the interests of the community require overcoming political divisions. When it comes to environmental pollution, lack of greenery, urban problems or social poverty, there is no room for division between the left and the right. There is only one side that must win: the citizens!
My criticism as an opposition member is not a division, but a call for attention!
My voice as an opposition member is not to hinder, but to awaken the civic conscience. We as the opposition seek a cleaner, greener, quieter Vlora for our children, more open for our young people and more loving for our elderly. A city where at every step the citizen feels respect and care. To feel that he belongs to the city with a European future.
And for this, neither the opposition nor the majority is enough. We need you, the citizens. For your conscience, for your word, for your heart. Vlora does not become better only through politics, it is made by every hand that does not throw garbage, by every eye that sees injustice and denounces it, by every voice that demands change, by our civic reaction.
When it comes to the city, there is no longer a left or a right. There is only one side that matters: the people.
It is easy to look for and find the guilty. But before we label the guilty and point the finger at someone, let us understand that for every index finger pointed at someone else, the other three fingers point at ourselves.
Therefore, today, with sincerity and humility, we say to you: come and work together. Let us sit at common work tables when necessary. Let us listen to each other without prejudice. Let us join forces when Vlora needs us, because love for the city is above all political differences.
We are not afraid of cooperation, we are afraid of silence and evasion. And when silence and evasion become the rule, irresponsibility takes power.
So I am saying it clearly: The opposition in the Municipal Council will not be silent. It will speak, it will propose, it will fight, but always with its heart on the side of the city.
The future of Vlora is not only in the hands of those who govern. It is in the hands of all of us. And together, we can build a more livable, fairer, more humane city.
