Kurti: We will obey the Constitution! The acting Prime Minister reacts to the decision regarding the constitution of the Assembly

"There is no Constitutional Court ruling that the Government of Kosovo with me as Prime Minister has not respected. And, there is no Constitutional Court ruling that I, as the president of the LVV, as the largest entity in the country and the Assembly, have not respected."
This was the stance of acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, when asked whether he would implement the court's decision regarding the constitution of the Assembly.
" But when they ask me again if I will respect the Constitutional Court's verdict, it makes me think that it would be so unusual, so unfair, so unbearable, that perhaps we should consider what we should do ," he said.
Kurti added that so far they only have the notification and not the entire document.
"But this time, unlike June 26, we only have the notification of the Constitutional Court and we have the full judgment, which is being delayed, and which we must read in its entirety. On June 26, we had both the notification and the judgment on the same day. Now, on August 8, we had the notification, but we still do not have the judgment. When we read it, we will express our assessment of the merits. But, it is not good that we have this delay, and based on the notification, in my opinion, there is a discrepancy between this judgment, the full version of which we are still waiting for, and that of June 26 of the same composition of the Constitutional Court," Kurti said.
Earlier, the Constitutional Court announced that the full judgment has not been published as all procedures provided for in the Law and the Court's regulations have not yet been completed.
