One dead and 10 injured in massive six-car accident on Peja-Pristina highway

A serious accident occurred at around 18:20 on the bridge in Komoran, on the Peja - Pristina route.

Naser Syla, the director of Emergency at UCCK, announced that as a result of the accident, one person died and 10 others were injured.

Syla announced that two of the injured are in serious condition.

The case was also confirmed by police spokesman Daut Hoxha, who announced that 6 vehicles were involved in the accident and that there were also injuries.

"Today, on 11.08.2025, at around 18:20, a traffic accident was reported with six vehicles involved and injured people, which occurred at the crossroads, at the bridge in Komoran, in the Peja-Pristina direction.

Immediately after receiving the information, police units arrived at the scene, while emergency medical teams and the fire department were also notified, which responded to provide the necessary assistance to the people involved and to manage the situation.

"The Kosovo Police is carrying out the necessary investigative actions and traffic management on that road segment, while other details will be announced in due course ," said Hoxha.
