President Vjosa Osmani asks the EU to lift unfair measures against Kosovo

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received today in a meeting the European Union Special Representative for the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue, Peter Sorensen.

At the meeting, President Osmani emphasized the need to advance Kosovo's European integration process, and stressed the importance of removing unjust measures, which are mostly affecting the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.

"As part of the discussion, the process of constituting the Assembly and other institutions was also addressed, as well as the importance of these institutions functioning democratically to advance common objectives."

The President also addressed the issue of arbitrary arrests of Kosovo citizens by Serbia, requesting the engagement of the international community so that Serbia can stop these illegal actions against Kosovo citizens," the presidency's announcement states.
