"We have agreed that if our political force does not pass the threshold of 7 deputies necessary for the creation of the parliamentary group, then we will take three deputies from the Democratic Party so that we can also be an important voice in the new Parliament. Be assured that Mr. Meta's voice will be heard strongly in the new Parliament in every session and in every meeting of the parliamentary committees ," confirmed in an interview for Top Channel, the Secretary General of the Freedom Party, Tedi Blushi.

Having a parliamentary group means benefits both in terms of debate time in the Assembly, but also in offices and staff, which will be a political bonus in the parliamentary action of Ilir Meta's party, who will coordinate the battle of his party from prison.

On the eve of the new legislature, Sali Berisha is still unclear about the path the Democratic Party will take.

"In the coming days, the forums will gather and make the relevant decisions ," warned DP leader Sali Berisha when asked what will happen to the opposition's mandates in Parliament.

"The only path the opposition should follow is not a single step back. Here I refer to the Battle of Stalingrad. There will be no boycott or surrender of mandates by the Freedom Party because this experiment resulted in betrayal not only towards the opposition and the country. Of course there will be protests and of course there will be strong political action ," Blushi declared for Top Channel.

To create a parliamentary group, at least 7 MPs are needed, where Top Channel journalist Elda Menga has learned that the Democrats are willing to follow the same practice with other allies to receive the bonuses provided by the Assembly's regulations, where the Democratic Party MPs will be transferred to other allies that Sali Berisha sheltered on the list, such as Mediu, Dule and the Dukë MP, making the opposition have at least three parliamentary groups in the new legislature.
