President Trump "remembers" Albania: I am proud that I ended the hostility it had with Azerbaijan!

President Donald Trump boasted about the end of hostilities between “Azerbaijan” and Albania on Tuesday. While confirming this, he managed to confuse the name of one country and cite another that had not actually been involved in the conflict in question.
Earlier this month, Trump brokered a peace deal between Azerbaijan and Armenia, whose leaders he hosted at the White House for a summit. The two countries have long been at odds over the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, which was seceded from the country with Armenian support. Azerbaijan regained control of the territory in 2023.
Trump appeared on Tuesday's edition of "The Mark Levin Show," where he repeated his context-free claim that he had ended six or seven global conflicts in his first seven months in office.
“ I’ve solved six wars and a lot of people say seven because there’s one that nobody knows about ,” Trump said mysteriously. “ But I’ve solved six wars and we got Iran — I destroyed their nuclear capability, which they would have used against Israel in two seconds if they had the chance. But we destroyed it .”
After claiming that the conflict between India and Pakistan was “easier” to resolve, Trump turned his attention to “Azerbaijan” and Albania:
A lot of amazing, wonderful things. You saw Aberbaixhan. It was a big thing that happened for 34, 35 years with, uh, Albania. Think about it. I mean, it went on for years, and I knew the heads, and I knew them through trade. I was dealing with them a little bit, and I said, "Why are you guys fighting?" Then I said, "I'm not going to make a trade deal if you guys are going to fight. It's crazy."
Anyway, one thing led to another and I solved it. And that was one thing that people said wasn't -- couldn't be solved. Even when I had them both in the Oval Office at the end, when they were getting ready to sign, they were sitting next to each other. They were trying to leave. They weren't feeling well. At the end of an hour, they were hugging and congratulating each other. It was beautiful to see, actually.
