President Bajram Begaj received a letter today from US President Donald Trump.

In the message, President Trump emphasizes his commitment to continuing US-Albania cooperation based on friendship, alliance, and respect for the ideals upon which the American nation is built and functions.

" By defending sovereignty, prosperity, and peace through strength, together we can achieve the impossible."

"I look forward to continuing our cooperation to build a more secure, sustainable, and successful future ," President Trump wrote in his letter to President Begaj.

President Trump's letter follows the message that the President of the Republic conveyed on the 249th anniversary of US Independence Day.
