After rumors circulated on Thursday in the media and social networks about an incident during the "Nona" festival in Përmet, where it was alleged that singer Anxhela Peristeri was hit in the face with a can, the artist herself has reacted to deny the news.

In an Instagram post, Peristeri clarified that the news is false and that the situation has been misinterpreted. "Dear friends and fans who have been writing to me all day today, I want to tell you that I am very well! No can touched me on stage, it was just a small child playing with that can and I took it so that it wouldn't get hurt. As always, the news is exaggerated! I love you very much and thank you for the interest you have shown," she wrote.

The rumored incident occurred on August 8, during a festive evening in Përmet, where Peristeri was one of the artists participating in a festival dedicated to Albanian grandmothers. Footage of the moment was quickly shared on the social network TikTok, causing various reactions.

The festival organizer, Bled Mane, reacted immediately from the stage, asking parents to remove their children from the stairs and warning that the concert would be canceled if the situation were repeated.

However, Peristeri himself has clarified that it was all a misunderstanding and that he was not hit, but intervened to avoid a possible incident.
