Sharon Stone has revealed an unexpected romantic moment with rapper Nelly. The actress surprised her fans when she publicly revealed that she had dated him in the past.

During her appearance on “What Happens Live With Andy Cohen,” the 67-year-old was asked about the rumor that she once had an affair with the 50-year-old musician. The host anticipated her answer before she gave it, saying, “I mean, it’s so crazy I can believe it.” Sharon Stone eventually confirmed the rumor, saying, “Yes, I did.” When Andy Cohen asked her if she had a second date, the actress shook her head: “No, I didn’t.”

The actress is currently single and the mother of three children: Roan, Laird, and Quinn. She adopted her eldest child in 2000 with then-husband Phil Bronstein, from whom she divorced in 2003. Two years later she adopted Laird, and the following year, Quinn.

Nelly, for his part, has been married to rapper Ashanti since 2023, with whom he has a child, Kareen. He is also the father of four other children: Chanelle and Cornell, whom he has with his ex-partner, Channetta Valentine, as well as Shawn and Sydney, whom he adopted from his sister, Jackie Donahue, after she died of leukemia in 2005.

Sharon Stone's confession comes after she said in January that her search for love wasn't easy. In an interview with The Times, she spoke about a typical experience with a "heroin addict" she met through a dating app and ended up at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles.

After she found out, she told him she wouldn't pursue a relationship with him. "I said to the waiter, 'I'll have a glass of water,' and he had an absinthe cocktail or something. And I said, 'I'm sorry, I can't stay,'" she said.

Despite the disappointments she has experienced, Sharon Stone is hopeful that 2025 will bring a special partner into her life. " This is the year I want to fall in love, 100%, " she said, adding that she was active on the dating app Tinder at the time.
