Taylor Swift has announced that her 12th album, 'The Life of a Showgirl,' is scheduled for release on October 3, 2025. This date coincides with the federal sentencing of Sean “Diddy” Combs, who was recently convicted of two Mann Act violations.
This has attracted new attention due to a television appearance in 2011, in which Swift mentioned Diddy.
In an interview on The Rachael Ray Show, Swift was asked to choose her ideal prom date from a series of celebrity photos. Instead of choosing just one person, she gathered a group of celebrities, including Jennifer Lopez, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Sheryl Crow, and Diddy.
She described Diddy as someone who had always been kind to her and "a lot of fun" to have around.
