The famous singer Shpat Kasapi was raped by several people during a wedding on the evening of August 8 in Pristina.
According to local media reports, Shpat Kasapi was invited to sing at a wedding, but his lateness caused the party to turn into a scene of violence.
Recently, the singer has reacted on social media after the concerns of his fans, stating that he is fine with the groomsmen and that everything was a misunderstanding with the wedding guests, without giving further details.
"Dear friends, I am in good health, thank God, please don't exaggerate the news, it was a misunderstanding with the wedding guests, nothing else to worry about."
The police also reacted to the incident, saying that Shpat Kasapi, around 40 years old, and Albin Kasapi, around 47 years old, were injured in the incident. Both stated that they were attacked by three people: Feim Kicaj, 62 years old, Bledar Kicaj, 36 years old, and Blerim Kicaj, 29 years old.
After being interviewed by the prosecutor, one of the suspects was taken into custody, while the other two were released in accordance with the regular procedure, according to the police.
