John Terry gives up ambition to become a manager

Chelsea legend John Terry has announced that he has given up on his pursuit of becoming a head coach after several rejections for managerial roles.
The former centre-back previously worked as an assistant coach under Dean Smith at Aston Villa and Leicester, after ending his playing career in 2018.
Many of Terry's contemporaries — such as Xabi Alonso, Cesc Fabregas, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard and Mikel Arteta — have already managed to secure jobs as coaches, which, he said, has been surprising.
Terry told The Sun: "I'm done with the idea of becoming a coach.
I'm enjoying my life, working part-time at Chelsea's academy, working with kids and passing on my experience.
"I have time for myself, I play golf, I spend time with my family, it's a perfect balance."
"I have many attributes to be a good coach, but that didn't happen."
"Now I'm focused on the academy and enjoying life," the English legend added.
