Class knows no age, Zhiru only needs 11 minutes to find the goal after returning

Olivier Giroud is back to scoring in the French football championship after 13 years. The striker, who joined Lille in the summer, needed just 11 minutes on the pitch to make his mark and establish his name among the top scorers of this edition.

The striker left Montpellier in 2012, but began his adventure in other championships, initially at Arsenal and Chelsea, before moving to Milan, and most recently to Los Angeles FC in the USA. During the summer, he decided to return to Europe again, convinced that he still had something to give in serious football, signing with Lille.

And a month before turning 39, he took to the field in Lille's first-week match against Brest. In the 11th minute, the striker took advantage of a deep pass and beat the opposing goalkeeper with a diagonal shot, showing that age is still just a number for him and that he will be a protagonist of this edition in Ligue 1.
