Moscow bans entry to Russia of 21 people working for British media

Russia announced on Monday that it has banned entry to its territory for 21 people accused of collaborating with “hostile British media” that Russian authorities say promote anti-Russian narratives. The list includes journalists, experts and members of non-governmental organizations.

Their names have been added to the long list of Western citizens that Russia has declared persona non grata since the start of the war in Ukraine.

Meanwhile, the UK has responded with new measures against Russia's financial activities. Today, the British government announced new sanctions on cryptocurrency networks operated by Russia, as part of efforts to curb the financing of the war in Ukraine.
